Work Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

A county-operated long-term care organization is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to provide quality resident care within a skilled nursing facility. This position supports residents' daily living needs while working closely with licensed nursing staff in a collaborative clinical environment.
Position Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, monitoring patient conditions, documenting care, and supporting nurses in delivering exceptional resident care. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and experienced working in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including meals, hydration, repositioning, ambulation, and nourishment between meals.
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, showering, shampooing, and toileting needs.
- Provide adjunct patient care, including therapeutic baths, ice packs, and non-sterile dressings.
- Measure and document vital signs and daily resident information accurately within patient records.
- Support nursing staff with resident care activities as assigned.
- Maintain professional standards while following facility policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license issued by the State of New Jersey.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience using PointClickCare.
- Current TB test or chest X-ray.
- Physical examination completed within the past month.
- Current seasonal influenza vaccination.
- Current COVID-19 test report.
- Strong communication and resident care skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Flexibility to work either available shift.
