Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Tampa, FL
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at the Blue Palms Health and Rehabilitation Center at Fletcher in Tampa, FL. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation center.
About the Role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients with various medical conditions. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and treatments
Conducting exercises and activities as prescribed by the physical therapist
Documenting patient progress and communicating with healthcare teams
Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
Responsibilities
Patient Care : Provide excellent patient care, ensuring patients receive the highest level of care and support
Treatment Planning : Assist with developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the physical therapist
Documentation : Accurately document patient progress, treatment plans, and communication with healthcare teams
Teamwork : Collaborate with physical therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Professional Development : Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
Education : Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or related field
Experience : At least [Minimum Years of Experience] years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
Certification : Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
