Staff nurse - 1st and 3rd shifts and weekends

Department: Urology FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Provides nursing leadership in the setting of a physician practice/medical office. Supervises and mentors nursing and support staff during assigned shift. Provides direct patient care as needed. Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes. Responds to complaints about patient care and related services, and manages through established channels. Ensures staff has necessary equipment and supplies to provide safe, quality patient care. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program within three years of assuming the Charge RN position. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Minimum Experience: 1 year of nursing experience. ~ In small, personal ways through human connection.
