Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: September 3, 2026

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week contract, Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends (4 weekend shifts per schedule block), no call required

• 32-bed Emergency Department with comprehensive case mix including intubations, lumbar punctures, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
• Patient ratio of 4:1 with collaborative team including Clinical Nurse Coordinators, RNs, medics, and PCTs on each shift
• Meditech EMR system for streamlined documentation and patient care coordination
• Supportive team environment with experienced staff of over 117 clinical professionals
• Opportunity to work in a fast-paced ED with diverse emergency presentations and advanced procedures

Requirements:

• Current Texas RN license or compact state license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification required prior to start date
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required prior to start date
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR preferred
