Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating weekends | No on-call requirements | 13-week contract

Highlights:

• High-volume emergency department with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 Fast Track beds, and 5 behavioral health beds
• Patient ratios: 1:4 ED, 1:5 behavioral health, 1:3 cardiac/trauma
• Procedures include trauma assists, central lines, airway support, rapid infusion, splinting, behavioral health de-escalation, and resuscitation
• EMR system: MEDITECH
• Equipment: Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers
• Collaborative team environment with active unit-based council and social committee

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
• ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• MEDITECH experience preferred
• Trauma and inpatient holding experience preferred
• CPI certification preferred
• Strong multitasking abilities and self-starter mentality
