Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Austin, Texas

Start Date: September 9, 2026

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week contract; 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; Night shift with rotating weekends (4 weekend shifts per schedule); No call required

• 32-bed Emergency Department with 4:1 patient ratios
• Comprehensive case mix including LP, intubations, TNK administration, laceration repair, suture removal, and splinting
• EMR system: Meditech
• Collaborative team environment with experienced nursing staff and clinical leadership
• Navy blue scrubs provided; professional dress code maintained
• Opportunity for permanent placement after contract completion

Requirements:

• Current Texas RN license or compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required by start date
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification required by start date
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
