As a highly respected and growing national firm based in Phoenix, Arizona, our Financial Services Central Division maintains offices in Solon, Ohio and Ft. *Job Responsibilities*

We are seeking a Litigation Attorney with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to manage a growing caseload. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, thrive with minimal supervision, and be driven to achieve their monthly goals. The candidate should be licensed in Ohio. In addition, licenses in Kentucky, West Virginia and/or Indiana are strongly preferred.

*Key responsibilities include*

* Represent clients at litigation hearings throughout the states of Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia
* Provide legal guidance to and partner with clients on a wide-range of issues to ensure achievement of business objectives while minimizing legal risks and liability
* Draft briefs and motions, including appellate briefs
* Manage a large caseload
* Draft motions, briefs, discovery responses and other legal documents
* Effectively communicate to help drive alignment with clients and other business partners
* Manage and coordinate with your team

* Knowledge of the national mortgage servicing industry and standard law firm case management systems is a plus.

* Practical working knowledge of modern technology and the ability to use it effectively.
* Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive culture.
* Ability to organize workload and manage cases in a rapid paced environment.
* A strong understanding of the FDCPA, or a willingness to learn.
* Knowledge of secured creditor Bankruptcy issues.
* Highest ethical standards and a strong work ethic.

*Requirements *

* Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.
* Admission to the practice of law in Ohio, with a strong preference for additional admissions in Kentucky, West Virginia, and/or Indiana, or the ability to immediately waive into those states.
* Admission to the US District Courts in all states in which they are licensed or the ability to obtain admission.
* Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to court appearances.
* At least one to five years of litigation experience in real estate, foreclosure, and/or other creditor rights practice areas.
