QC Supervisor

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: QUALITY CONTROL SUPERVISOR IN RUTHER GLEN, VA Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Quality Control Supervisor to join our team in Ruther Glen, Virginia. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that the product and service provided is fit for purpose, is consistent and meets both external and internal requirements. Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $47,000 – $52,000 per year Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision Schedule will vary to meet operation needs Located in Ruther Glen, Virginia Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations in the Quality Control Department for all shifts Supervise warehouse products for Quality Assurance Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, recalls, corrective actions, and re‑validations Correspond with clients through email Enforce plant quality standards Manage and maintain the company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in‑process materials and components Monitor, enforce and further develop plant HACCP program Knowledge of MSDS Ensure that all quality assurance programs and procedures are being implemented correctly Ensure compliance to Federal, State and local regulations; increase awareness and evaluation of GMPs Follow all food safety requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices as applicable Ensure that safety rules, production, and sanitation standards are met Oversee the process of store orders to ensure the highest level of service to the customer Assist and maintain high quality of service by enforcing company policies and procedures Assign duties to employees and schedule break periods, work hours, and vacations; schedule and perform periodic evaluations of employees as dictated by HR policies Assist other warehouse floor supervisors and associates with warehouse policies, departmental procedures, and job duties Follow up on customer concerns/complaints, examine discrepancy reports and resolve to restore and promote good public relations with the client Promote a positive work environment while also being a team builder Work closely with staff to ensure that quality and productivity requirements are maintained and communicated to each associate Must be flexible and able to work any shift in support of business needs All other duties required by Distribution Center and Operations Manager Requirements and Qualifications Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a self‑initiator who can implement and supervise all warehouse data entry programs as directed by the Office Manager High level of computer and WMS system literacy Some college level training is preferred but not necessary; experience in warehouse supervision and the wholesale industry is preferred Some college level management education and/or 2 years Quality Assurance/Production Supervisor experience in wholesale industry Increased knowledge and experience in SQF, HACCP, and GMP principles; certifications preferred Strong computer skills required; knowledge in MS Office, Excel and WMS system literacy Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce Lifting up to 25 lbs Sitting at a computer for long periods of time Accurate Personnel provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
