Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Visibility in Jeffersonville, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will communicate clearly, respond to site needs, and provide exceptional customer service while working with integrity, reliability, innovation, and teamwork.

DayTimeWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and directing visitors and delivery personnel according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while communicating relevant observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
