Maintenance Manager

Role Profile The Maintenance Manager at Gables plays a critical leadership role, overseeing service operations and maintaining the communities you serve. Your focus is on excellent customer service, strong collaboration with the General Manager, and ensuring timely, compliant facility maintenance. Responsibilities Supervise a maintenance team while completing building and annual unit inspections to comply with local regulations. Collaborate with the General Manager to set expectations, manage schedules, and meet deadlines. Prepare and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize emergency and service repairs. Understand budget guidelines, purchase supplies, and schedule vendor services using purchase order systems and proper bidding procedures. Serve as a subject‑matter expert in all technical areas of property maintenance, mentoring and training on‑site service teams. Remain open‑minded and flexible as day‑to‑day tasks may change based on community needs. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience working in apartment maintenance. EPA Certification Type I and II.
