Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery to provide high-quality patient care in a surgical setting. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of surgical nursing experience and a strong commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures, as applicable to the assigned unit.
- Monitor patient conditions, document clinical findings, and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with clinical policies and safety standards.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to West Virginia.
- Minimum of one year of surgical nursing experience .
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within six months of hire.
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills.
