Join Our Team at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital! The Pediatric Respiratory Care Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations within the clinical setting to ensure delivery of quality service and optimal patient flow.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing needs, assisting with clinical evaluations, participating in hiring and evaluation, monitoring compliance with certifications, licenses and required education, and performing direct patient care activities as required to meet operational needs.

Qualifications include a graduate degree from an approved school of Respiratory Care and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBRC, a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care, Cardiopulmonary Sciences, Business Administration or Health Science Administration; or an Associate Degree in Respiratory Care plus any NBRC Specialty Certification (NPS, RPFT, ACCS) or Asthma Educator Certification (AE-C) with documented supervisory and/or management experience. Maintains current professional license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the State of Florida. Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certificate; and as determined by specialty area ACLS, PALS, or NRP is required. Three (3) years' experience as a registered respiratory therapist in the acute care setting.
