RN - Endoscopy Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current acute care hospital PCU experience License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital PCU experience BLS & ACLS certifications Description:Responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a progressive care unit.Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed during the night shift.Manage a patient load of 4-5 patients per nurse on nights.Utilize various medical equipment including lifts and cardiac monitoring equipment.Document patient information accurately in the designated EMR system.Perform cardiac drips, cardiac catheter management, and chest tube management.Provide wound care and administer TPN/lipids when necessary.Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.Demonstrate a team-oriented attitude and maintain a positive demeanor in the workplace.Embrace new technology and equipment available on the unit.Self-scheduling options are available to enhance work-life balance. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
