Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill cardiovascular patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established clinical protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of CVICU experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an Open Heart Recovery Unit (OHRU) or similar post-cardiac surgery environment
• Familiarity with travel nursing assignments and ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
