Position: Recruiter (Healthcare)

Schedule: Full Time Monday -Friday

Location of opening: Jericho, New York 11753

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet with hiring managers to discuss their hiring needs and formulate strategy
• Source qualified candidates via job sites, databases, networking etc.
• Help establish connections with professional groups, communities and other organizations
• Select and present qualified candidates to hiring teams
• Help hiring teams interview candidates through various methods (e.g. structured interviews, behavioral interviews)
• Advise hiring managers to help them make better hiring decisions
• Assist with onboarding new hires

Mandatory Requirements:

• Knowledge of effective hiring practices (e.g. social media recruiting)
• Proven success as a recruiter
• Hands-on experience in the entire recruitment life cycle
• Must be reliable and have a positive attitude
• Must be okay with managing change and working under pressure
• Must be able to communicate very clearly
• Flexibility and the ability to multi-task
• Exceptional customer service skills & interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of applicable local, state and federal laws with respect to home health care

Preferred Requirements:

• Minimum 1 -2 years' experience
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in full cycle recruitment
• 2 professional references
• Industry hiring experience is a plus
