Electrical Designer / DrafterImmediate Need | Direct HirePittsburgh, PAUp to $85,000Why Our Client?Global reach with clients spanning 35+ countries and growingCustom engineering — no two projects, no two days, the sameSmall team, big visibility — your work matters hereExpanding into EV battery and renewable energy marketsThe RoleA hands-on electrical design and drafting role supporting industrial project teams by developing accurate CAD drawings, performing basic design calculations, and ensuring compliance with NEC and NFPA standards throughout the full project lifecycle.What You'll Be DoingCreate and revise electrical drawings — schematics, one-line/three-line diagrams, panel schedules, wiring diagrams, and installation detailsDevelop electrical layouts for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systemsPerform basic electrical calculations — load, voltage drop, conduit fill, and panel sizingCoordinate with engineers, project managers, mechanical designers, and the in-house panel shopMaintain document control and revision tracking; support field RFIs and as-built updatesWhat We Need3–5 years of electrical design and drafting experience in an industrial environmentProficiency in AutoCAD — requiredAssociate degree, technical diploma, or certification in Electrical Drafting or Engineering Technology — preferredStrong knowledge of NEC and NFPA standardsAbility to interpret engineering sketches, specs, and markups into construction-ready drawingsStrong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaborativelyInterested and qualified?
