Assistant Facilities Manager

Our client, a leading organization in commercial real estate management, is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to join their team. You will be part of the Facilities Management department supporting regional commercial offices. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization and ability to travel to Dallas office once a month. Job Title Assistant Facilities Manager Location Houston, TX Pay Range $29-31.25/hr. (temp-to-perm) What's the Job? Support the Facilities Manager in delivering comprehensive property operations and maintenance services for assigned client portfolios Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure contract compliance and service quality Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and operational standards Assist in managing facility budgets, tracking variances, and ensuring accurate financial forecasting Support implementation of facility projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives What's Needed? Minimum two years of experience in a corporate environment or third-party service provider Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships Strong communication skills, both written and oral Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects effectively What's in it for me?
