Site Superintendent

SUMMARYThe Site Superintendent is responsible for on-site construction supervision, ensuring safe, timely and quality delivery of work activities in alignment with Vertiv standards, project specifications and regulatory requirements. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvide daily on-site supervision of all construction activities and subcontractor operationsEnsure work is executed according to approved drawings, Risk Assessment Method Statement RAMS and project specificationsConduct daily site briefings and coordinate work sequencing with tradesMonitor site productivity, safety compliance and quality workmanshipCoordinate with Site H&S Coordinator to enforce safety protocols and close out observationsMaintain on-site records including permits to work, inspections, deliveries and progress logsIdentify and escalate risks, delays or deviations impacting cost, quality or scheduleSupport the Site and Program Manager in managing site interfaces, logistics and client interactionsVerify installed works for compliance and support punch-list creation and close-outCoordinate change-related impacts with Project Controls and Estimating/QS teamsResolve and maintain punch/snag listsINTERACTIONSSite H&S Coordinator and HSE teamsConstruction Manager and Project ManagerSubcontractors and suppliersQuality, Commissioning, Logistics and Engineering teamsClient site representativesTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS100% site based with variable working hoursValid Driver’s License and ability to obtain site access permitsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS5+ years on-site supervision experience in construction or industrial projectsStrong working knowledge of construction methods, drawings and safety regulationsStrong leadership, communication and coordination skillsBASIC QUALIFICATIONSTrade qualification or degree in Construction/Engineering preferredCompetency in MS Office and construction reporting toolsCertification in safety or site management desirableACCOUNTABILITIESQuality and compliance of on‑site construction activitiesAdherence to project schedule and safe working practicesAccuracy of site documentation and reportingWORKING CONDITIONSSite based with exposure to active construction environment; PPE required; variable hours including weekends/after hours as needed.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by associates assigned to this job.
