Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced travel RN with a focus on emergency nursing to join our team. This role involves working three 12-hour shifts weekly with a mix of day and night shifts. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of emergency nursing experience and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.

Shift Details

Day Shift: 10:45 AM - 11:15 PM
Night Shift: 2:30 PM - 3:00 AM
Weekend and holiday rotation required
On-call requirement: 8 hours every four weeks (total of 24 hours for a 12-week contract)
On-call shifts available in 4-hour blocks (11:00 PM - 3:00 AM and 3:00 AM - 7:00 AM)

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of emergency nursing experience
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (TNCC and NIHSS preferred)
Must have active Wisconsin or Compact State licensure

Preferred Experience

Charge experience is optional; please indicate on application
Familiarity with Cerner charting system is preferred, training will be provided
Travel nursing experience is advantageous
Experience in Trauma Level I or II facilities is a plus

Unit Information

This role will be situated in a patient-centered environment with interdisciplinary support. Candidates should be prepared to handle a variety of patient diagnoses and special procedures.

Location

The position is located in the city and state of the facility. Candidates should be open to commute or relocation as needed for the duration of the contract.
