Job Description

Position Title: Forklift

Wage: $18-$20/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday

We're looking for reliable, safety-minded team members to pull orders, stage pallets, and keep our warehouse running smoothly. If you're comfortable in a fast-paced environment and enjoy hands-on work mixed with some forklift, this is a solid, steady opportunity with a great local team in Marion, IA.

Forklift Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Stack and Stage Pallets-Safely stack, unstack, and stage pallets in designated areas; maintain organized lanes and rotation standards
- Pallet Organization-Prepare pallets for loading by ensuring proper height, stability, and shrink-wrap quality
- Order Pulling-Pull and prepare product for route delivery according to pick sheets or scan-gun instructions
- Product Verification-Verify lot numbers, quantities, and product condition; identify and report damaged goods
- Forklift Operation-Operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts and handheld scan guns safely and efficiently
- Trailer Loading-Load trailers evenly and ensure proper weight distribution for safe transport
- Paperwork Accuracy-Complete load documentation neatly, accurately, and on time
- Inventory Control-Assist with counts, stock rotation, and maintaining quality standards
- Team Communication-Communicate with supervisors and coworkers to support workflow and resolve issues
- Discrepancy Reporting-Report product, count, or equipment discrepancies to management
- Workplace Safety-Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all SOPs, rules, and regulations

Forklift Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Prior warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Prior forklift experience preferred
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing
- Regularly lift up to 10 pounds, frequently lift up to 55 pounds
