Requirements:- Greet patients warmly and professionally
- Check in patients accurately and efficiently
- Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information
- Collect copayments and patient balances
- Assist patients with questions and help direct them to the appropriate resources
- Communicate effectively with providers, clinical staff and other departments
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and a positive attitude
- Help to keep patient flow moving smoothly in a busy specialty practice
