Job Description Broward Health is seeking a GI Hospitalist to join our team at Broward Health Medical Center in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. This is a dedicated inpatient-only role designed for physicians who thrive in a collaborative, high-acuity hospital environment. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team focused on quality and patient-centered care. Position Highlights This role involves managing inpatient and ED consults, overseeing GI-related admissions, and providing comprehensive care for adult/geriatric patients with acute and complex gastrointestinal conditions 100% Inpatient Gastroenterology No clinic requirement Block Schedule: 1 week on/ 1 week off Daily Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM After-Hours Call (during on week): Phone triage for ER and inpatient consults Occasional return to hospital based on patient needs Work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume tertiary care setting Compensation & Benefits Highly competitive base salary: $650,000.00 — $700,000.000 based on experience Comprehensive benefits package including: Health, dental, and vision insurance Malpractice coverage through Sovereign Immunity Retirement plan options Paid Time Off and CME Allowance Qualifications BC or BE in Gastroenterology Eligible for medical license in the state of Florida Strong clinical skills in inpatient gastroenterology Experience with ERCP and EUS preferred, but not required
