Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a School Psychologist. This role offers an engaging, varied experience across multiple campuses in a vibrant community near North Richland Hills, TX. You’ll join a dedicated group of professionals collaborating to ensure students’ educational and emotional needs are met with expert care.
In this itinerant position, you’ll serve five schools each week, dedicating 35 hours per week during the school year (from August 10, 2026, to May 21, 2027). Your expertise will be instrumental in conducting evaluations and providing services related to Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairment (OHI), including ADHD assessments, Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
What We’re Looking For:
- Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential
- Licensed by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
- Previous experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred but not required
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites
What You’ll Do:
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Deliver direct psychological and behavioral support to students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to create and implement effective intervention plans
- Lead and participate in meetings to support student Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Consult on behavior management strategies and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines
