Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Location: Holyoke, MA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts), including every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is an integral member of the healthcare team, responsible for providing direct and indirect care to patients and their families. This role entails maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary treatment team to contribute to individual treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients and their families.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to develop, implement, and document treatment plans.
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills in patient care.
• Foster therapeutic relationships while managing professional boundaries.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Massachusetts; BSN preferred.
• One year of inpatient psychiatric experience required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention preferred.
• Willingness to float to similar or lower acuity units as needed.
