Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Metal Machine Operator to join our team in Elgin, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our metalworking machinery operates efficiently and effectively. If you have a passion for machinery and a knack for troubleshooting, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Operate and monitor metalworking machines to produce high-quality parts.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications.
- Handle heavy materials safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve any operational issues.
- Document production data and machine performance metrics accurately.
- Proven experience as a Metal Machine Operator or similar role.
- Strong equipment troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
- Experience with heavy material handling and safety practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
