Senior Information Technology Analyst

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid - 3 days/week onsite) Pay Rate: 50/hr on W2 Contract Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party service providers to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, understandable language for business users and executive stakeholders. Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams to ensure alignment on project scope, expectations, deliverables, and timelines. Create and maintain business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and other project documentation. Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, evaluate solutions, and support decision-making. Monitor and measure IT service performance using KPIs and metrics, recommending improvements where appropriate. Assess business impacts of IT risks and issues and **escalate** concerns to ensure timely resolution. Support budgeting activities and analyze financial trends related to technology initiatives. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with vendors and service providers. Develop a strong understanding of business processes, application architecture, data flows, and system integrations. Identify opportunities for continuous process and technology improvements. Collaborate effectively within a matrixed organization and contribute to cross-functional initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience). 7-9 years of experience in an IT Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role. Strong experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, validating, and managing business requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering value-driven technology solutions. Experience working in fast-paced, metrics-driven environments with a continuous improvement mindset. Understanding of technology domains, business processes, and enterprise applications. Foundational knowledge of contracts, vendor management, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
