Yard Loader - 2nd Shift

Location: Mendota, IL
Pay: $20.00/hour + $1.50/hour shift differential
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Saturdays as needed)
Potential for Long-Term Hire

Job Overview:

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a manufacturing company in Mendota to hire a 2nd Shift Yard Loader. This position is responsible for loading and unloading materials, supporting shipping operations, maintaining yard organization, and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in an outdoor industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload products and materials safely and efficiently.
Organize and maintain yard inventory and storage areas.
Inspect materials for quality and accuracy prior to shipment.
Operate equipment and follow established safety procedures.
Assist shipping and production teams as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow all PPE and workplace safety requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Previous forklift, loader, or material handling experience preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
