Title
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule
12H Night shifts; every other weekend and 2 holiday shifts required.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly

Requirements
- BLS/ACLS certification (AHA)
- MA nursing license
- Minimum of 2 years experience in emergency nursing
- Epic experience required
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- PALS or ENPC certification (equivalency)
- TNCC certification

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department with various medical emergencies.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
- Document all patient care activities accurately using electronic medical records.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.

Compliance / Notes
- Must have been separated from the previous organization for 6 months to be eligible for this position.
- Excessive time off will not be considered, especially around the holidays.
