Warehouse ManagerThe Warehouse Manager oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods; ensures workplace health and safety requirements are met; takes responsibility for the security of the building and stock; plans the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organizes special requirements for certain stock, such as damaged and oversized products; ensures productivity targets are met and maintain computerized administration and automated storage and retrieval systems.Responsibilities:Monitor and manage the daily processing of all Purchase Orders and Stock Purchase Orders to ensure they flow through the Admin and Back Office Macola systems correctly to Order CloseEnsure product is warehoused and disbursed to the picking line within the prescribed time frame, and systematically processing all Instawarehouse Purchase Orders to completionEnsures daily warehouse order processing is successfully executed and Pick Tickets/Products are shipped out from our warehouseManagement of the receiving, inventory control & the returns department including the monitoring of the Direct and True Bins to properly issue out for accurate inventory and processing orders to closeAssist with expediting customer service orders and monitoring orders and inventory for order completionInput data, provide training, supervise staff, oversee workflow & resolve problemsAssist Customer Service Manager(s) in resolving any shipment or returns issuesEnforce proper use and maintenance of any Instawarehouse equipment – motorized or otherEnsure proper delivery and pickup of inventory using appropriate shipping sourcesEnsure that the Instawarehouse is properly staffed at all times during normal business hours or other hours as may be deemed necessary by managementEnsure that all Instawarehouse floor areas, offices, front walkways, dock and dumpster areas are clean, neat and free of any debrisMotivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are metTrain staff and monitoring their performance and progressQualifications:Education High School diploma or equivalent.Preferred Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain ManagementExperience2 to 5 years of Supply Chain/Warehouse and Management experienceProficiency with various Warehouse Management platforms and Inventory systemsComputer applications using MS office specifically excel, word, and PowerPointPossess or ability to pass forklift certificationSkills:Excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work comfortably under pressureAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize individual and staff workloads to meet deadlinesEffectively communicate with internal and external customers (management, coworkers, and suppliers.)Ability to write short correspondenceAbility to accurately spellAbility to speak and write English in a clear, understandable mannerAbility to accurately follow detailed procedures and processesAbility to work accurately in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work with a diverse group of peopleAbility to work comfortably under pressureAbility to prioritize and work multiple tasks and exceeds deadlinesAbility to work independently and with a group on various on-going projects simultaneouslyEffectively communicate with internal and external customers (management, co-workers, vendors and customers.)Must be able to perform basic arithmetic calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentage functions.)Ability to concentrate for extended periods of timeMust have the ability to carry out instructions furnished in both oral and written formAbility to plan and organize time and projects efficientlyAbility to exchange and furnish information requiring detailed explanations and maintain active discussions with customers and other workgroupsMaintain a professional working relationship with customers and co-workers at all timesAbility to act in an ethical, honest and professional manner at all timesDesire to work independently as well as in a team environmentMaintain discretion with all company information regarding customers, pricing, products, and proceduresPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this jobMust be able to stand, move and walk 75%+ of the dayMust have the ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment (hot in the summer and cold in the winter.)Must be able to lift and move packages up to 50 poundsMust be able to bend, reach and stoopMust be able to look at a computer screen for periods of time and typeRequires the ability to read written instructions, reports and other documentationSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusThe employee frequently is required to talk or hearThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loudWorking Conditions:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
