Case Manager - Employment Services

Purpose The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive case management services that empower newcomers to successfully integrate into their communities. By delivering individualized support, connecting clients to essential resources, andfacilitatingaccess to higher levels of care when needed, the Case Manager plays a critical role in helping refugees achieve stability and long-term self-sufficiency. Responsibilities Enroll eligible clients into the program and provide orientation and on-going case management services throughout the program service period Develop, create, and maintain employment solutions for refugees and other ORR-eligible clients Assess clients’ employability and assist with development, formulation and implementation of employment service plan, resumes and job applications Work with clients to remove barriers to employment and realize the goal of family self-sufficiency. Identify support services that may assist clients in becoming self-sufficient, such as ESL, transportation, immigration services, and childcare. Identify job opportunities, assist with application completion, coordinate interviews, advocate for clients and follow-up with employers Manage ORR-eligible cases, ensuring timely delivery of services and fulfillment of requirements outlined in the RSS Providers Manual. Complete all case notes and program documentation, ensures accuracy and compliance within program guidelines and confirms timely delivery of services Ensure timely data entry into agency and state funder databases Provides safe, timely, and supervised transport for clients to off-site appointments or activities as needed Provide or organize on-the-job interpretation services as needed Communicates, coordinates and promotes program within the community and partners. Respond promptly to employer requests and inquiries Serve as a local representative during presentations and meetings with external community resources Identify new referral resources that will facilitate and assist client in self-sufficiency Serve as an advocate for clients. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree. 3-4years’ experience working with refugees or immigrants, andprevious employment case management experience. Other Skills: Strongly preferred that candidates are bilingual in English and a refugee language. The successful candidate must be computer literate, withproficiencyin MS Office Suite (Word and Excel) and internet applications. Exceptional organizational and time management skills arerequired. Excellent communication skills are essential, including an ability to communicate in a trauma-informed, positive, caring, and professional manner,demonstratingrespect and empathy. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environmentrequired. Commitment and willingness to support CWS’ Platform on Racial Justice as a CWS employeerequired. Special Requirements The job will require reference checks, standard criminal background checks, and motor vehicle background checks.
