Desired Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Recent experience working in an operating room setting
• Proficiency with surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and intraoperative patient care
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication abilities for collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other team members
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and instruments for surgical procedures
• Monitor patients vital signs and overall well-being before, during, and after surgery
• Assist surgeons directly during operations, maintaining a sterile environment
• Accurately document nursing assessments and perioperative events
• Communicate clearly with surgical teams and keep patients and families informed
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control standards, and facility policies
• Provide patient education on surgical procedures and post-operative care
