Your Role

As a Host(ess), your primary responsibility is to warmly greet guests and guide them through their dining experience with attentiveness and professionalism. You'll ensure prompt seating, maintain table rotations, support servers and kitchen staff, and contribute to a smooth and welcoming front-of-house environment. This role is ideal for someone who communicates with Social Intelligence, works Stronger Together, and strives to be Better Every Day.

What You'll Do

• Greet every guest with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Seat guests promptly according to table availability and server rotation
• Answer guest inquiries in person and over the phone
• Manage reservations and maintain waitlists
• Provide menus and communicate restaurant specials or features
• Operate point of sale system to process payments when needed
• Maintain communication between kitchen, servers, and guests
• Ensure cleanliness and presentation of dining areas
• Support team members with light food and beverage service or bussing as needed
• Proactively address guest concerns or refer to management when appropriate
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Calm and professional demeanor under pressure
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at once
• Clear and confident verbal communication
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced, team focused environment
• Familiarity with POS systems or reservation platforms is a plus
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required

Licenses & Certifications

• SafeServ Certification
• TIPS or equivalent training
