Line Leader

A Line Leader oversees daily assembly operations in manufacturing or warehouse environments. They manage team workflows, enforce safety and quality control standards, and ensure production quotas are met. This mid-level, hands-on role bridges the gap between entry-level staff and upper management.
Core Responsibilities
• Team Supervision: Assign daily duties, manage shift schedules, and cross-train new employees on assembly stations.
• Production Optimization: Set up the line to meet daily quotas, track progress, and eliminate bottlenecks to maximize efficiency.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products, verify correct labeling, and ensure all items meet company and industry standards.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA protocols, conduct safety briefings, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
• Inventory & Reporting: Monitor material supply levels, replenish components, and maintain accurate documentation on product lots.
Key Requirements
• Experience: 2–4 years of prior assembly line or manufacturing experience, often requiring a high school diploma.
• Hard Skills: Proficient with warehouse equipment, inventory tracking software, and maintaining OSHA/GMP safety standards.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, team motivation, conflict resolution, and clear communication.
