Job Title Adjunct Instructor in Applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) Location Alpine Job No. AJF984 Posting Date 07/23/2026 Until Filled Yes Salary $0 Required Terminal degree in Applied Artificial Intelligence or related field, or equivalent industry experience. Classroom teaching experience. Preferred PHD and prior University teaching experience. Blackboard experience. Primary Responsibilities SRSU seeks a qualified, adjunct/part-time instructor to teach senior-level students enrolled in a non-credit course in applied artificial intelligence, resulting in a micro-credential. Teach face to face Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material Evaluates students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and informs students in a timely manner of their progress Maintains professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community. Security Sensitive: This position is classified as Security-Sensitive and is thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code §51.215 and Texas Government Code §411.094, which authorize employers to obtain and review criminal history record information for applicants.
