About the Role

Under the guidance of the Emergency Department Director, the RN delivers comprehensive nursing care using sound judgment and clinical knowledge. The position requires adherence to state nursing regulations and hospital policies, with a focus on patient safety, privacy, and effective communication.

Education and Experience

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• At least one year of emergency room nursing experience is preferred.
• Charge nurse experience is a plus.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current and unrestricted state nursing license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications are required.
• TNCC certification must be obtained within six months of hire.

• Apply nursing procedures and functions with proficiency.
• Understand and address age-specific growth and development needs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards.
• Organize and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate clearly and document accurately.
• Utilize current technology, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with 12-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week.
