Service Desk Analyst

Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Service Support Specialist (SD3) to help our IT team automate and implement new technology to keep our desktop environment current and running optimally. Key Responsibilities Provide expert-level Desktop Support and Services. Manage Active Directory (AD) and AD toolsets, including ADUC, user authentication, authorization, and identity/access management. Utilize creativity and innovation to automate and streamline processes. Deliver high-quality customer support and ensure user satisfaction. Perform high-level systematic troubleshooting to identify symptoms and root causes. Manage testing and production deployment processes. Apply basic networking principles (DHCP, DNS, PING, NSLOOKUP, NETSTAT). Utilize SCCM (version 2012) and mentor others on its use. Develop scripts using PowerShell 3.0 or above, including automation for production systems. Learn and utilize Varonis to audit and clean up unstructured data and NTFS permissions. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong communication, leadership, influence, collaboration, and negotiation skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across business and functional lines. Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong meeting facilitation abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong time management and prioritization skills.
