Litigation Associate

Our respected law firm client is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join its growing team in Nevada, with the opportunity to work out of Reno or Las Vegas. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney seeking sophisticated casework, professional growth, and a collaborative environment with a flexible hybrid work schedule. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced attorneys representing clients in a broad range of litigation matters in Nevada state and federal courts. Judicial clerkship experience is preferred. What You'll Do Manage litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle Draft, respond to, and manage written discovery, including eDiscovery processes Conduct legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, briefs, and memoranda Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings Handle motion practice and oral advocacy in state and federal courts Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and support staff to develop litigation strategies Analyze case facts, review documents, and assist in case investigations Maintain compliance with Nevada and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure Provide responsive client service while managing multiple priorities and deadlines Qualifications Active Nevada Bar license in good standing Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Experience with written discovery and eDiscovery Strong knowledge of Nevada and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure Experience with depositions, trial preparation, motion practice, and oral advocacy Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills Strong academic credentials Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Judicial clerkship experience preferred Benefits Include Hybrid work schedule Annual discretionary bonus opportunity Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options Short-term and long-term disability coverage Life insurance benefits 401(k) retirement plan Generous paid vacation and sick leave Parking or transportation assistance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Salary Range: $175,000-185,000 annually #J-18808-Ljbffr Permanent Placements LLC
