Location Boston Charlotte Dallas New Jersey New York City Philadelphia San Francisco Silicon Valley Washington DC Do you want to do work that matters, alongside supportive leaders who will help you grow faster than you ever thought possible? Are you a creative problem‑solver who is energized by challenges? You've come to the right place. Your Impact As a Product Manager, you will craft product roadmaps, interview end users, and guide teams in delivering and launching meaningful, user‑centric advanced analytics and agentic solutions. Working with a cross‑functional team of domain experts and technical colleagues, you'll tackle delivery obstacles, prioritize high‑value features, and foster innovation to address client and business objectives. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure product success. By leading user discovery sessions, you will build empathy and understanding within the team to align product development with user needs. You will identify and address delivery barriers, manage dependencies, and negotiate with stakeholders to maximize value within tight timelines and budgets. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high‑quality, user‑focused products. You’ll be working in one of our North American offices in our Life Sciences practice. As a member of McKinsey’s global Scientific AI team, you will help revolutionize how clients approach research and development in innovation‑driven sectors such as Life Sciences, Specialty Chemicals, Global Energy & Materials, Agriculture, Advanced Industries, and Sustainability. Your contributions will help solve complex challenges for clients and colleagues. Partnering with subject matter experts, engineers, and designers, you will align product development with industry needs and client goals. Your work will shape software solutions that enhance usability, quality, and predictability, driving lasting impact for internal and external stakeholders. You will lead the creation of innovative advanced analytics and agentic capabilities that deliver value to clients and drive meaningful outcomes. Based in our entrepreneurial and collaborative team, you will help shape McKinsey’s shift toward asset‑based consulting by fostering innovation through analytics, design thinking, and emerging technologies. Your work will focus on building product roadmaps, defining MVP functionality, and guiding teams to launch impactful solutions. Your role offers a unique opportunity to grow as a leader in product management and technology. With access to McKinsey’s global network of experts and technologists, you will refine your skills, expand your leadership capabilities, and make a meaningful impact on the future of product innovation. Your Growth Driving lasting impact and building long‑term capabilities with our clients is not easy work. You are the kind of person who thrives in a high performance/high reward culture—doing hard things, picking yourself up when you stumble, and having the resilience to try another way forward. In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we’ll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities you need to become a stronger leader faster than you ever thought possible. Your colleagues—at all levels—will invest deeply in your development, just as much as they invest in delivering exceptional results for clients. Every day, you’ll receive apprenticeship, coaching, and exposure that will accelerate your growth in ways you won’t find anywhere else. When you join us, you will have: Continuous learning: Our learning and apprenticeship culture, backed by structured programs, is all about helping you grow while creating an environment where feedback is clear, actionable, and focused on your development. You’ll make a tangible impact by offering innovative ideas and practical solutions, all while upholding our unwavering commitment to ethics and integrity. We not only encourage diverse perspectives, but they are critical in driving us toward the best possible outcomes. Global community: With colleagues across 65+ countries and over 100 different nationalities, our firm’s diversity fuels creativity and helps us come up with the best solutions for our clients. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from exceptional colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Knowledge and understanding of technical engineering best practices (e.g., test‑driven development, continuous integration, etc.). Proficient with drawing storyboards, creating wireframes, creating/grooming product backlogs, writing user stories and developing acceptance criteria. Proficient in stakeholder management, story‑lining presentations and evaluating role. Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment.
