OVERVIEW

On Demand Counseling is seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. barriers to treatment and recovery by connecting them with the resources and support they need to succeed.

SCHEDULE

This is a FT, days position including weekends.

SUMMARY

The Medical Assistant provides clerical, clinical, and client support services, ensuring efficient operations, quality care, and professional communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care Assist with patient intake, including recording vital signs, medical history, and reason for the visit. Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and addressing inquiries. Aid healthcare providers during examinations and procedures. Administrative Tasks Obtain records and all information needed before patient appointments. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system. Schedule appointments, answer phones, and assist with front desk duties as needed. Ensure a clean and organized work environment. Collaboration Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and streamline clinic operations. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent is required Medical Assistant certification preferred although not required. Ability to pass background check (BCI/FBI) and drug screeN.
