Auto Body Technician ApprenticeFields Collision Center Glenview is motivated and dependable Auto Body Technician Apprentice to join our automotive collision repair team. We strive to ensure a supportive and collaborative environment where team members are encouraged to grow and elevate their careers through promotion within the organization.Pay: $35,000-55,000 DOEWhat We Offer - BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Paid Basic Life Insurance, 401(k) Plan, Personal Time Off, Paid Training, Employee vehicle purchase plans, Health and wellness, Saturday Lunches, Discounts on products and services, Sundays off.ResponsibilitiesAssist experienced body technicians with collision and body repairs.Remove and reinstall vehicle components, trim, bumpers, lights, and other parts as directed.Assist with dent repair, panel replacement, sanding, grinding, and surface preparation.Prepare vehicles and parts for bodywork and refinishing.Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.Learn and follow manufacturer repair procedures and shop safety requirements.Assist with moving and positioning vehicles within the shop.Inspect parts and components for damage or required replacement.Properly handle and store tools, equipment, and materials.Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with technicians and management.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsPrevious automotive, mechanical, or collision repair experience is helpful but not required.Willingness to learn and develop automotive body repair skills.Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.Ability to follow instructions and work safely.Good attention to detail.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Basic knowledge of hand tools is a plus.Valid driver's license preferred.
