Impact Lab Board Member - STEM, Health & Literacy Advocate

The D.O.S.E. Impact Lab is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, creating, connecting, and enhancing smiles through science, STEM, and literacy-integrated initiatives. We serve youth and underserved communities across Maryland and surrounding regions by delivering hands-on, culturally responsive learning experiences that strengthen STEM knowledge, oral health awareness, reading confidence, and pathways to healthcare careers.Our programs intentionally integrate STEM education, oral and holistic health, and literacy development, recognizing that reading comprehension is foundational to academic success, health literacy, and lifelong opportunity. By meeting students where they are and embedding reading into engaging, real-world experiences, we reduce stigma, build confidence, and promote equitable access to learning.As we transition from a grassroots initiative to a fully operational nonprofit, we are looking for board/advisory members. The D.O.S.E. Impact Lab is building toward sustainable growth, regional scalability, and measurable community impact, with a focus on Title I schools and low-income communities.
