What You’ll Do Lead structural design and analysis for aviation, aerospace, federal, health & science, and commercial building projects Serve as a technical lead for major projects and provide engineering guidance across multidisciplinary teams Prepare and oversee structural calculations, engineering analyses, reports, drawings, specifications, and construction documents Develop and review construction documents using Revit and structural analysis/design software Coordinate with architecture, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other project disciplines Participate in client meetings, presentations, proposal support, and project coordination activities Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support construction administration activities Perform quality control reviews and ensure achievement of key technical and project milestones Conduct field observations and site visits to support construction understanding and verify design intent Solve complex engineering challenges through practical and innovative design solutions Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and review of junior staff work for technical accuracy and quality Support discipline coordination, project planning, schedules, scopes, and overall project delivery efforts Stay current with structural engineering standards, building codes, and evolving structural engineering practices.
