Diesel Mechanic Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 25.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:30am to 05:30pm)

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on automotive & diesel vehicles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Repair or replace faulty parts and components
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems
• Perform intermediate level maintenance and repair, including major and minor component replacements on vehicle A/C, ignition, electrical, heating, cooling, drive train and axles.
• Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
• Must have clean MVR, Drug Test, pass DOT physical.

Diesel Mechanic Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Diesel service technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of diesel and vehicle systems
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Please note that this position may require heavy lifting, tire service, soldering, welding, and providing customer service.
