Position Summary Position Summary... What you’ll do Be a Team Member: Collaborates with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educating other associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentoring new technicians. Communicates and develops interpersonal skills for providing safe and efficient customer service. Be an Expert: Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, and product specifications, and exhibits knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone, and in‑person selling techniques. Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training. Be an Owner: Communicates equipment, tools, and supplies needs to TBC Lead, tracks and monitors returns and special orders, operates cash registers, processes transactions, works hand‑on in the physical area while maintaining accurate inventory, auditing safety and compliance standards, and reporting any complaints, safety hazards, or problems with products, services, and work areas. Completes paperwork, logs, and other required documentation, ensures merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored per company policies, assists members with purchasing decisions, and resolves issues and concerns. Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate by valuing the member experience in the TBC area, modeling high‑quality service and products, developing, influencing, and inspiring others for a respectful, supportive, team‑oriented style, understanding roadblocks, and assisting in training team members. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implements related action plans using the Open Door Policy, and uses these to execute business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources in collaboration with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carries out tasks, communicates progress and information, determines and recommends improvements, and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback. Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications Valid state‑issued driver’s license. 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Auto service industry, Retail Experience.
