Maintenance Technician I

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on material handling equipment (MHE), conveyor systems, dock doors, warehouse equipment, and facility infrastructure across Distribution Center.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including equipment inspections, lubrication, adjustments, cleaning, and component replacement under established procedures.
• Perform predictive maintenance tasks on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical equipment using tools such as ultrasound, infrared laser thermometer, and multimeter.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, Senior maintenance personnel, and Operations Leadership.
• Assist with troubleshooting basic mechanical, electrical, and facility-related issues and escalate more complex problems to higher-level technicians or the Maintenance Manager.
• Perform basic building maintenance including painting, drywall repair, minor plumbing repairs, lighting replacement, carpentry, and facility upkeep.
• Maintain accurate work order documentation, maintenance logs, and inspection records.
• Assist with maintaining maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
• Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and maintenance standards.
• Participate in training and skill development opportunities to increase maintenance knowledge and technical capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience working in maintenance supporting Material Handling Systems and building equipment or related trade/technical school equivalency.
• Basic knowledge of electrical theory including AC/DC and single/three phase power.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical powertrain systems.
• Basic Carpentry and Plumbing skills.
• Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and work from elevated surfaces for extended periods.
