Quality Assurance Tester

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience in software quality assurance, system testing, and test automation.

• Proficiency in test automation frameworks, C# or Java programming, and DevOps integrations.

• Experience with testing web services using SoapUI, Postman, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) technologies.

• Experience in complex SQL scripting, database validation on Microsoft SQL Server, and Extent Reports.

• Experience with data-driven automation testing, GitHub version control, and NIEM XML standards.

• Experience in defect management tools, software design patterns, and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and expand automated test suites using C# or Java and integrate them into DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Execute manual and automated system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and data-driven validation scripts.

• Test web services, SOA architectures, and XML messages using SoapUI, Postman, and MS SQL Server queries.

• Build test use cases, test result reports, and Extent Reports metrics for new software releases.

• Log, track, and manage software defects using defect tracking tools like IBM Rational Jazz Suite.

• Validate Requirements Traceability Matrices against contractual specifications and functional requirements.

• Collaborate with software developers and project managers to troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve technical bugs.
