Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Wilmington, Delaware patient service center. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing specimens for testing, managing patient data, and delivering customer service. Monday-Friday 9am-6pm with rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
- Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle billing and payments
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Three or more months phlebotomy experience
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation
