About the Analyst Position: As an analyst, you have the opportunity to work on complex business problems within an inclusive and collaborative environment. Analysts can expect to work on multiple projects at a time across various practice areas and industries. Responsibilities may include: Quantitative analyses : you will help develop data-driven models to address complex economic and financial problems using tools such as SAS, R, Stata, Python Qualitative research : you will conduct research using academic and industry literature, publicly available data sources, and client materials; you will review, synthesize and apply technical accounting guidance and interpretive literature; and you will synthesize findings to inform case strategy and analysis Preparation of reports : you will assist in drafting expert reports, presentations, and internal memoranda, and help prepare materials for client and case team meetings Team collaboration : you will engage regularly with colleagues at all levels through case work Firm‑building initiatives : you will contribute to firm life by participating in recruiting, mentoring, and inclusion initiatives; pro bono work; and other business development activities Analysis Group fosters a work environment that is centered on delivering high quality work through teamwork and collaboration, best-in-class learning programs, and a culture of transparency, trust and respect. The ideal candidate will possess: A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting, business administration, economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related subjects; relevant work experience is a plus, but not required Strong quantitative and research skills , including analytical and creative problem‑solving abilities; familiarity with AI tools;the ability to conduct targeted research to solve the economic, financial, accounting, and business challenges our clients face; and intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to continuously learn Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills , with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely Demonstrated interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset , with the ability to work independently as well as within a team setting A strong academic track record , with demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to producing high‑quality work Applicants must have at least a 3.3 GPA or higher in their most recent degree to be considered. Actual compensation will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, and qualifications.
