Step into an impactful role supporting students’ physical growth and independence in an educational environment! This full-time contract opportunity for a Physical Therapist runs from August 2026 through May 2027, with your workday spanning 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including a 30-minute, unpaid lunch break. Expect to engage with a diverse K-12 caseload, which includes some Pre-K students, providing both direct and consultative services across multiple school sites.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
• Experience working in school settings is highly preferred, though motivated PTs from other backgrounds will also be considered
• Strong ability to manage time effectively as an itinerant therapist covering several campuses
• Ability to collaborate with other PTs, PTAs, and educators
• Commitment to timely credentialing and district onboarding requirements

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Delivering skilled therapy interventions to promote functional mobility, access, and participation in the educational setting
• Collaborating with another PT and PTA to manage a total caseload of 94 students (both direct therapy and indirect services)
• Traveling between an assigned group of district schools (typically 2–3 per day)
• Contributing to IEP meetings and documentation as required
• Working closely with school staff and families to achieve student goals
