SAP SuccessFactors iXp Intern - AI Software Engineer (Summer 2026) We are seeking a software engineering intern to join the SAP SuccessFactors iXp team during the Summer 2026 internship program. The role focuses on building AI-driven solutions for automated performance analysis across SAP SuccessFactors. Duration 10 Weeks (Paid internship) Responsibilities Design and develop full‑stack AI‑driven solutions for automated performance analysis. Build innovative tools using Agentic AI, GenAI, and cloud‑native technologies to detect, report, and resolve product performance issues. Analyze AI and product workflows to automatically identify performance problems and anti‑patterns. Create AI‑powered solutions for automated generation of MUPT performance testing scripts. Adopt the latest open‑source tools and technologies for use in the SAP context. Perform debugging, problem solving, and defect/bug resolution as required. Apply technical knowledge to challenging programming and design problems. Demonstrate a passion for developing well‑architected, elegant software tools and services. Desired Experience and Background Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Experience in full‑stack development using a cloud‑native programming language (Java, Python, or Go). Experience working with AI/ML, GenAI, and assessing their benefits and shortcomings in end‑to‑end workflows. Experience with Agentic AI is a plus and exposure to automated analysis of real‑world software tasks. Experience optimizing or analyzing any component or API for performance, reliability or scalability. Desired Technical Skills Proficiency in Java, Python, and/or Go, with a strong understanding of language execution and performance implications. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of basic performance engineering concepts and performance KPIs. Compensation Annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for this position: USD 15,000 – USD 62,000.
